I'll watch it for just the heck of being a fan. But that's all. It's still being debated, so we're not sure it'll happen.

We should give Rob a chance. He knows what he's doing.

Sometimes he does, sometimes he doesn't know which way is up and which way is south.

I don't know if the remake is gonna fly with true Halloween fans. Rob Zombie should be able to put together a pretty good remake, but it just won't be the same.

I own Devil's Rejects. It is a good movie. Rob Zombie is good at making movies, just don't know if the Halloween remake is gonna fly lol.

I liked it, but I didn't like it. Know what I mean?

Yeah I hear ya, it wasn't a motion picture masterpiece but it was good. I liked House Of A 1,000 Corpses better. Just my opinion.

I would rent House Of 1,000 Corpses first, I think it was better. Then if you like that one rent Devil's Rejects.

Thanks CrowRules. But I've heard the first one is a rip off of "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" is it true?

Speaking of the Halloween remake, here's an interview with Rob Zombie. Apparently, he doesn't like remakes either. His description leaves me with mixed feelings- it seems to me he's doing to Myers what Freddy vs Jason did to Freddy and Jason- taking them out of the dark and focusing on their thoughts, their emotions. This is fine to some extent, but taking someone like Myers, who thrives in the shadows, into the light takes away a lot of his effect. Personally I think Freddy vs Jason made Jason look like a bitch, and while I don't think that will be done with Myers, I would hate for it to make him seem entirely predictable. I prefer the "pure evil" description of Myers' psyche, and anything else done about his mind will only dilute that. I am interested in the idea of more Loomis, though- I kind of agree with what he said about Loomis being used just to say dramatic things and then disappear again. I would still rather he use the same amount of thought and energy making an entirely original movie, but I think I'm interested in seeing how this turns out.

If there was gonna be a Halloween 9 I would've liked to see the son of Dr. Loomis. Maybe casting Jeff Goldblum as Dr. Loomis's son.

Goldblum would've been perfect for the role as Dr. Loomis's son. Resurrection made the series even worse. Most of the Halloween sequels sucked other then 2,4, and H2O.

6 would have been better if Pleasence hadn't died and they had done it the way they originally planned to.
